Doug Sherman; Host

Doug Sherman grew up in Texas and studied engineering at DeVry University after leaving the US Army in 1991 (11B Infantry, 1st ID, 2/16th "Ranger's Forward"), and went on to study history, marketing, and business at UT Dallas. His career has included positions in engineering, marketing, technical sales, business development, and sales management, culminating in his current forever-role as a VP of Sales & Marketing. During that time, he conducted business in over seventeen countries, relocating to the UK in 2008 and then again to San Diego in 2013 before returning home to Texas with his wife in 2020.

When not spending time with his family and dogs, Doug is an avid podcast listener, debate watcher, and reader of history, cosmology, astronomy, religion, psychology, leadership, and the US Constitution. His favorite pastime is having intellectual, in-depth and non-judgmental discussions on controversial topics with rational, thoughtful people with opposing positions, especially when it involves copious amounts of wine.
